This year William Hulme's Grammar School is supporting two very worthwhile charities :
St. Ann's Hospice
We have supported St. Ann's for a few years now in many and various ways.
Pupils from William Hulme's Grammar School have raised more than £4,000 over the last two years in aid of St Ann's Hospice as part of their involvement in St Ann's Hospice annual Young Citizen of the Year Award.
We hope this year to involve more students than ever and raise even more money for this amazing charity.
Henshaws Society For The Blind
Our other charity this year, Henshaws Society For The Blind seeks to better the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
Recently one of Henshaws' longstanding volunteers, was
formally recognised for her contribution and commitment to
promoting creativity in the community, at the Manchester Community
Awards 2007.
