Henshaw's Society For The Blind

Henshaws Society for Blind People has been providing practical,
caring and imaginative support to blind and visually impaired
people across the North West for the past 170 years. Henshaws
unique services support individuals of all ages and Henshaws
understands that sight loss can also affect friends and family
too.
The services Henshaws provides are real lifelines, whether teaching
someone how to make a cup of tea without burning themselves,
reassuring a worried parent or helping someone to get back into
work. Henshaws really does transform lives.
Jack was born 16 months premature and lost 75% of his vision, he
now sees the world only 12cm in front of him: 'Henshaws is such as
worthwhile organisation which has made a huge difference to my
family. They have always been there to calm our concerns, and it's
so reassuring to know that whatever happens, I can pick up the
phone and speak to them.' Karen - Jack's Mum
Henshaws supports over 2000 people in Manchester alone, we are
reliant on the generosity and support of individuals, groups and
organisations and are extremely grateful that William Hulme's
Grammar School have chosen to support Henshaws - your support
really will make a difference.
