Admissions for 2010 and 2011

Applications for Year 7, Reception Class and Nursery 2010 are now closed.

Year 7 places for 2010 will be offered by applicants' own local authorities.  Letters will be posted to parents on 1st March.

Reception and Nursery offers will be posted on 1st April. 

Our next Open Evening will be held on Thursday, 30th September 2010.

Applications for 2011 (all years) will open on 6th September 2010.  Prospectuses will be available from that date from school or from this website.

The Year 7 Assessment Day (2011) will be held on Friday, 3rd December 2010.  This is a non-verbal reasoning test which is used for banding purposes and is not an entrance exam (11+) with a pass or fail mark.  All applicants will be called for the test.  We do not provide practice papers.

Year 7 2011 Children beginning in Year 6 in September 2010 who are due to start secondary school in 2011 will receive a common application form from their own local authority in September 2010.

At the present time there are no vacancies at this academy in any years including the Primary School.  If you are considering moving your child from their current school, you should contact Manchester School Admissions or the Manchester Family Information Service (FIS) on 0800 083 7921.  They will be able to advise you about vacancies in other schools.
