All students from nursery to year 11 are expected to wear school uniform. Students in our sixth form are not required to wear uniform, but are expected to dress smartly. Please refer to the relevant download document for details of the dress code for your child.
John Lewis is the official school uniform outfitters William Hulme’s Grammar School. You can order the William Hulme's Grammar school uniform online or receive a fitting service and order online by visiting your local John Lewis store. School uniform accessories, footwear and association wear for after school clubs is also available to buy from John Lewis. Items carrying the school crest (logo) are only available from John Lewis from their schoolwear website (see above). All other items of uniform which do not carry the school crest may be purchased from your supplier of choice. If you don’t know what size to order, John Lewis branches in theTrafford Centre and Cheadle carry samples of school uniform for sizing purposes, but the branches do not carry stock for purchase on the day.
Second-hand uniform is available, with the funds going to the Parents' Association. See the Parents' Association noticeboards outside the school entrances or their page on this web site for details of the next sale.
