Welcome from the Parents' Association at William Hulme's

URGENT APPEAL FOR A SECRETARY!

Samina Jafri stepped down as secretary of the PA at the end of last year, so we are looking for someone to step into the role at least until the end of the year. The secretary should attend and minute the monthly meetings; if you can't attend them all then that's OK! Any other involvement with the activities of the PA would not be necessary, and entirely your choice. if you think you could help us, please contact the chair, Jacqui McKnight, either via the school, on 07947656260 or by email on the.mckjundis@homecall.co.uk.

All parents and carers of students attending William Hulme's are eligible to become members of the Parents' Association, and we welcome their involvement.

We organise events throughout the school year, predominantly as social events to provide an opportunity for parents, carers and children to meet one another, and the school staff, in an informal setting. Any monies raised are entirely for the benefit of the school.

All parents are welcome at the Parents' Association meetings, which are held monthly in the school. We publish the details on this page, and on the Parents' noticeboards which are outside the main reception and in the Primary phase playground.  In order to enable all parents to get involved in the PA, we alternate the time of the meetings between taking place during the school day at 2.30pm and in the evening at 6.30pm - please see below for dates.

We are seeking parents who can offer some of their time to join in with running our events, but if you can't assist at the moment then please just come along to an event and have fun!

Primary Phase Summer Fair

Our annual summer fair will be held in the school from 3:30pm to 5pm on Friday 21st June.

Second Hand Uniform

We collect and sell school-crested second hand uniform. If your child has grown out of any uniform (blazers, jumpers, polo shirts, sports kit etc) then please donate it to us. Any clean donations can be dropped off at any time either at reception or with Ms Douglas in the primary phase.

Our next uniform sale will take place on Wednesday 26th June after the new year 7s induction day, n the Primary Phase Hall - we have uniform in all sizes to fit children from nursery right through to year 11, so come along if there is anything your child needs.

300 Club Monthly Prize Draw 

We also operate a monthly prize draw called "The 300 Club", and our aim is build membership of this to 300 members. To enter this prize draw you pay a total of £12 for a year's membership. Once a month we make the draw and the winner gets a prize of £30. As the number of members builds we will be able to increase this prize. Any adult may join.
