Y10/Y11 Prison Peer Mentoring Programme

Tuesday, 8 October 2019

On Tuesday, 8 October, twenty-five Year 10 and 11 students visited Lancashire County Cricket Club to hear a talk by The No Way Trust (more commonly referred to as Prison! Me! No-Way!), which is a nationally registered charity.

For over 25 years, the charity  has provided an ever evolving, diverse and unparalleled range of interactive, area specific, educational and innovative programmes for children and young people, with a commitment to helping the neediest, vulnerable and underprivileged; inclusive of all.

The students met ex-prisoner 'Manny' who gave a talk about his life and how he got into crime and how he found redemption - a thoroughly compelling story that had all the students 'hooked' from the first minute.
