WHGS Eco Group

Thursday, 7 November 2019

William Hulme's students have started up an Eco Group! Our vision is to make our school more eco-friendly and do this by raising awareness of current ecological issues.

We want to work with students and staff to promote recycling, improve biodiversity in the school grounds, reduce the use of plastics and reduce our energy usage.

We have had our third meeting already with over 30 students attending from across the Secondary Phase. One of our next steps is to link with the Primary Phase and other schools to tackle the ecological issues we care about the most!
