Our Head of Computing, Mr Alan Harrison, was recently employed by the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) to create some learning content for the new website “Isaac Computer Science”. Being a former Cybersecurity consultant, Alan wrote the Security content, which will be used by thousands of GCSE and A-Level students in the coming years. You can read Alan’s work on the Isaac Computer Science website.
Isaac Computer Science provides high-quality online learning materials for use in the classroom, for homework, and for revision, and has been written by a team of experienced teachers to cover every topic in the AQA and OCR A level Computer Science specifications. Isaac Computer Science is part of the Department for Education’s National Centre for Computing Education programme. More information on the launch of new subjects including Alan’s content is available on the Isaac Computer Science blog.
