Interested in journalism? Long to get your side of the story across? Then this is the ideal opportunity for you!
BBC Young Reporter is a journalism and media project designed to enable young people with an interest in telling stories and making news, to gain experience in putting together content, carrying out research and reporting on current affairs.
We are living in unprecedented times. The necessary response to the Coronavirus crisis has drastically altered the way in which we go about our daily lives and having to adapt has not been easy.
The team at BBC Young Reporter are asking young people aged 11-18 to share their stories, experiences, thoughts and feelings about our current situation. They are interested in finding out how the virus and the subsequent lockdown are impacting on the lives of young people, their families and communities.
This is a really unique opportunity and you are encouraged to share your voice and feel empowered to speak out about the changes you’ve had to make, be they positive or negative.
The BBC team have designed an online uploader, which you can find here: www.bbc.co.uk/send/u43596387.
The uploader allows you to submit stories in text or audio format, although to ensure safeguarding, you will need your parent or carers consent before sending anything through to the BBC.
