Places of worship are at the centre of many people’s communities. They are spaces to congregate, worship, pray, read Holy books, see friends and learn about beliefs.

At William Hulme’s Grammar School, we wanted the children to recreate their local places of worship to represent their community. Children have shown great Design Technology skills using the right tools, selecting the right adhesives and carefully choosing the right materials. They truly became Model Makers designing and creating 3D models of their communities.

The winners are Logan in Year 5, Amelia in Year 3 and Ismail in Reception who will all receive a certificate and a £10 voucher. All entries were incredible. Thank you to all those that took part in the Eid/Community competition 2020.

Here are the Primary Phase entries...
