WHGS Christmas Charity Collection

Foodbanks provide Christmas hampers to families who may be struggling and elderly care packages for those who live alone and are socially isolated due to having no family members.

This year, we are collecting Christmas items for the Manchester South Central Foodbank, who help local families who are struggling and old people who are isolated. 

To help, please bring in any items you can spare, especially the following:

  • Apple Sauce
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Stuffing Mix
  • Fruit Cake
  • Mince Pies
  • Sweet Treats
  • Chocolate Treats
  • Edible Crackers
  • Biscuits Tinned Fruits
  • Tinned Vegetables
  • Tinned Soup
  • Tinned Tuna
  • Hats, scarves, gloves (for the elderly)

We will be collecting every day from Monday 7 December to Friday 11 December 2020.

Please send any items you have, to school between 7-11 December.  Secondary Phase students can take items to the table in their Year Group Area between 8.00am-8.30am.
