Socially-Distanced Chocolate Tombola

Friday, 11 December 2020

This year, the Primary Phase could not have their usual Christmas Fair. Usually, the chocolate tombola queue stretches across the Primary Hall from the beginning of the Fair to the very end! We could not let the children down, so we made some tweaks to allow some chocolate fun.

The Primary Phase had a non-uniform day, where all the children had to bring in an item of chocolate for the privilege of wearing their own clothes. We then sold raffle tickets to the children for a chance to win an item of chocolate.

On the day of the raffle draw, the children entered the school to see the corridors filled with chocolate! If their number was called, through our virtual raffle, the child had to run into the corridor and grab the item of chocolate that they wanted! As you can see, this was great fun and we managed to raise £608.
