Christmas Jumper / Wellbeing Day

Friday, 11 December 2020

On Friday 11 December, WHGS Secondary Phase took part in a Christmas/winter Jumper themed day to promote self-care.

Throughout the week various classes took part in a PSHE lesson, focused on learning about self-care and its importance, and looking at self-care activities they can implement into their lives.

On the Wellbeing day itself, the students voted for the area of self-care they thought to be most important, as part of the Smart School Council. This information will be used to focus on activities, information and support for students in the future.

At break and lunchtime, some of the students took part in an activity where they wrote positive messages on a bauble to go on to the 'Positivitree'.
