We have another fantastic Film Club winner this month.  Izma in Year 8 has been selected by our partners at Into Film for her entry into their Review 500 competition, as a result of her thoughtful review of the Disney fantasy The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

William Hulme’s Grammar School has recently received a set of Science Scales, kindly donated by Mr David Best, the grandson of Mr Stanley Robert Best, who was a student at the school from 1897 to 1905!

Y7/Y8 Pan-African Poetry Workshops with Big People Music

Students in Years 7 and 8 participated in an outstanding series of workshops on Friday 7 May, during their English and History lessons.  The Pan-African Poetry workshops were delivered as part of the Black History Education Project, an exciting collaboration between Manchester Libraries and Big People Music.

On Monday 17 May, William Hulme's Grammar School Combined Cadet Force (CCF) ran a taster day for potential recruits in Years 8, 9 and 10, to look at the activities the CCF has to offer them.
