On Tuesday 4 July, we welcomed friends from Henshaws who were serenaded by KS3 'Uke's and Co' Group performing 'Wellerman', as well as Year 7 and 10 soloists.

On Friday 30 June, the whole school took part in Eid Celebrations and raised money and awareness for World Sickle Cell Day - thank you for your kind donations. In total, our students raised £305.51.

Tuesday 27 June marked the return of WHGS's annual talent show - the Wow Factor. The evening was a huge success thanks to all our wonderful participants and brilliant audience. The evening's entertainment included bands, piano solos, vocal acts, drama pieces and dancing. The Wow Factor judges were full of praise for the nine acts. 

On Tuesday, Chef Stuart came in to demonstrate a range of dishes to show our students how to improve presentation techniques during their exams.

The students were able to help with the preparation and learn tips and tricks from a professional. 

On Wednesday 21 June, the Primary Phase held their Careers Marketplace. During the day, many visitors came into school to talk about their careers and how they got into it.
