What a fantastic way to end our final Culture Day of the academic year.
Our school was filled with colour, music and pride as students and staff came together to celebrate the cultures and identities that make our community so special. Our travelling samba band gave students a brilliant welcome into school, while workshops delivered by Milk Education helped students explore culture, identity and community even further throughout the morning.
It was wonderful to see so many students proudly wearing cultural dress and embracing the opportunity to celebrate who they are.
Thank you to our families for their generosity in supporting Manchester Young Lives through donations collected on the gates. Our £1 Krispy Kreme sale was also a huge success.
Days like today are so important in helping young people feel seen, valued and connected within our school community.
