On Friday 16 October, GCSE Music students attended a performance by the Hallé Orchestra at The Bridgewater Hall, entitled 'The Orchestra Through the Ages'.
The concert explored the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th-century periods, giving students a valuable insight into the development of the orchestra and classical music through history.
Students enjoyed hearing a range of works, including pieces they study as part of the GCSE course, alongside film and musical theatre favourites.
Throughout the trip, all students were excellent ambassadors for the school and conducted themselves impeccably.
