The Primary Phase collected an amazing 199.15kg of food donations, which is the equivalent of approximately 470 meals for people in need. This is a fantastic achievement and shows the caring spirit of our school community.

We would also like to thank our Action Ambassadors, who worked hard to collect, sort and deliver the donations to Manchester South Central Foodbank. During the first visit, pupils learnt why foodbanks are so important and helped to pack food parcels for people who need them. On their second visit, pupils had the opportunity to help sort and date-check the food, giving them a valuable insight into how food banks support local families. Thank you MSC Foodbank for allowing our pupils to have this valuable experience!

This project helped us put our values into action by supporting everyone's right to food and contributing towards the United Nations Global Goal of No Hunger.

Thank you to everyone who donated. Together, we have made a real difference to our community. Well done to all involved!
