As we approached the closing stages of the World Cup 2026, the Primary Phase embraced the excitement of the tournament by hosting its own mini-competitions for pupils in Years 4 to 6.
The celebrations began with exciting 3v3 football tournaments on the opening day of the World Cup, creating a fantastic buzz across the school. Thank you to 3v3 UK who provided the inflatable pitches for the day.
To build on this enthusiasm, coaches from the Manchester United Foundation visited the school to deliver engaging football sessions for pupils in Years 1 to 3, inspiring our young learners and helping them develop their skills, while enjoying the spirit of the world’s biggest sporting event.
