On Tuesday 25 November, the Food & Nutrition Department held the Senior Inter-House MasterChef Competition. We had entries from Years 10, 11 and 12, making for a very busy and exciting atmosphere in the food room.

The standard was very high with students making a great mix of high skilled, tasty, savoury and sweet dishes.  There were lots of staff keen to be judges and they had a very satisfying time tasting all the delicious dishes. They found it very difficult to choose the best in each category.

After much deliberation the winners were announced:

• Savoury: Zachriya (10H) - Chicken Burgers  (Johnson)
• Sweet: Maariya (10S) - Layered Berry Cake with Chantilly Cream (Johnson)
• Technical Skill Award: Inaaya (12F) - Paris Brest (Pankhurst)
