A Memorable Evening of Reconnection
On Friday 28 November 2025, William Hulme’s Grammar School welcomed back former students from the years 2007 to 2020 for a long-awaited Alumni Reunion. The event brought together more than 200 alumni who returned to reconnect with friends and staff.
The evening began with an optional tour of the updated school buildings. Ninety alumni took part, giving them the chance to revisit familiar areas while seeing how the school has developed over recent years.
Guests spent the evening catching up, sharing memories and enjoying light entertainment and refreshments. A keynote speech from our recently retired Principal reflected on the school’s journey, its achievements and the strong sense of community that continues to define WHGS.
We were also pleased to officially launch the WHGS Alumni Network. This initiative is designed to strengthen links between former students and the school, create opportunities to stay connected and encourage alumni to be involved in future events and activities.
If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to visit our alumni page and join the mailing list so you can stay informed about future opportunities to connect with WHGS.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a positive and memorable occasion. We look forward to hosting more alumni events in the future.
