Year 3 experienced a little bit of culture last week. Both classes visited Manchester Art Gallery and took part in two workshops to learn even more about Greek Mythology.
The first workshop was 'The battle of Troy'. We explored the emotions of the battle through understanding paintings throughout the gallery. As we looked at the paintings we were also told different parts of the story and created freeze frame pictures. Our favourite is the battle frame between the Trojans and Spartans.
Our second workshop focused on Greek architecture, and we created wall panels using Ancient Greek designs.
