Year 6 enjoyed an exciting and adventurous end of year trip to Salford Watersports Centre, where they took part in a range of challenging water-based activities.
The children were divided into groups and rotated around four activities throughout the day; raft building, giant paddleboarding, kayaking and team canoeing.
As they moved between activities, pupils developed teamwork, communication, resilience and problem-solving skills, while supporting one another to overcome new challenges. The experience provided opportunities for every child to build confidence, demonstrate leadership and work collaboratively in a fun and engaging outdoor environment.
The trip perfectly reflected our aim of helping pupils become fit to lead, fit to perform and fit for life, whilst creating lasting memories with their peers.
