It was a very busy evening with many keen Year 7 budding chefs cooking a variety of tasty dishes. The food room was a hive of activity and everyone produced amazing, well flavoured and well-presented sweet or savoury dishes making the judging very difficult. There were lots of promising skills on show and the standard was very high. 

The winners were:

• Savoury Dish: Habib - Glazed salmon with jasmine rice, broccoli and pickled cucumber
• Dessert: Yusuf - Chocolate brownies
• Technical Skills: Maryam - 'Subway' Hand made bread roll with chicken tenders and salad
• Presentation Award: Idris - Pancake stack

All the winners received a cook book and everyone that took part received a Food & Nutrition pin badge.
