On Friday 18 November, a group of our music students attended a fantastic gig, 'Disco Classical' at the Bridgewater Hall. Students were entertained by support act De Tronic and then the main act, complete with orchestra, band and singers.
The concert was made all the better for featuring our very own drum and percussion teacher, Lea Mullen who played in both groups. Students and staff danced all night and the lighting, glow sticks, ticker tape and fantastic music made for a really wonderful occasion.
With no other school trips in sight, it was made all the more special by audience members commenting on the maturity of our students at this brilliant gig. Hopefully the first of many to follow this academic year.
