This week, our Primary pupils have really enjoyed learning about the Hindu festival of Diwali —the festival of lights.
We took part in a fun dance workshop, where the children learned some traditional moves. We also made Diva lamps using clay, listened to the story of Rama and Sita, and explored special Diwali artifacts, traditional clothes, and Indian music in the classroom.
The children were excited to learn about how Diwali is celebrated and enjoyed taking part in all the activities. It was a joyful and colourful celebration!
