Fifteen students from Years 8 to 12 have earned themselves the opportunity to attend Saturday School at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) for the duration of this academic year.
From the beginnings of a pilot programme in March 2022, students have been successful in their application, through hard work and dedication, which has been recognised by Popular Music Course Leaders at the RNCM. We would like to thank all those involved; UL Music, Sony Music and the RNCM for this amazing opportunity.
Students will not only be guided by staff but by student mentors, which will include our very own Eden-Haya who was successful in her Sixth Form studies, gaining a Distinction in L3 BTEC Music Performance. Reunited with WHGS Musicians, she will now mentor our students as an undergraduate at the RNCM studying for a BMus(Hons) in Popular Music.
