Twenty of our Year 10 French GCSE students attended a French study session at Home Cinema in Manchester on Tuesday 6 December. The session was led by IsabelleVanderschelden, a Manchester Metropolitan University Lecturer in French and Film Studies.
Students enjoyed watching a film in French called "La cour de Babel" and took part in linguistic activities throughout the session. The film gave the students an insight into the life of young foreigners and their struggle with learning French, but also their hopes and aspirations for a prosperous future in France.
Many students found the film educational and inspiring and thought their experience on the day was really positive.
