On Friday 20 January, eight of our Year 12 History Students visited the University of Manchester to take part in a workshop on US Civil Rights.
They attended a seminar led by Professor Andrew Fearnley from the American Studies Programme, before heading to Central Library to study important archive material in the AIU RACE Centre. They finished the day by studying key online resources in the Main Library Archives Centre.
