On Wednesday 7 December, our Smart School Council Communication Team took part in Manchester Healthy School's virtual Voicebox event, where Student Councils from schools around Manchester met to discuss topical issues and plan for how our schools can address them.
Our Comms Team, made up of five Year 8 and 9 students, had great discussions as a team and then made brilliant contributions to the event. The topics discussed were Children's Mental Health Week and Safer Internet Day, both coming up in February.
The team got lots of ideas for how we will be able to promote this in WHGS and we will be working on our plans after the Christmas holidays.
