A group of our Year 8 students absolutely "smashed it" at their Rowing Competition on Wednesday 25 January. There were over 400 pupils taking part, from lots of different schools. The staff running the event were very happy with our pupils, stating how well they behaved and how well they worked as a team.
The team consisted of Humaira, Emaan, Anisah, Shahd, Sanjidah, Avesta, Samir, Abdulrahman, Hamza and Ashwin.
Special mention to Ashwin who finished second in his heat of 40 boys and Emaan - both pupils came in the top 5 for the Greater Manchester region and have been invited to take part in the national rowing competition in London.
