A-Level results

Students and staff at William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS) are celebrating their A Level success this year with excellent individual results securing places at prestigious universities across the country.

21% of entries achieved A*-A grades at A Level with 43% achieving A*-B grades and 74% achieving A*-C.

Peter Mulholland, Principal of William Hulme’s Grammar School said: "I am delighted for and proud of our students who have done so well. We have a particularly strong academic focus in our Sixth form with Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology the most popular subjects, so it is excellent to see everyone’s hard work paying dividends.

“Today is a celebration for students who have been with us throughout their education and also for those who have joined us just for A Levels. We have an extremely popular and flourishing Sixth Form and it is always a pleasure to see students making the most of their potential by securing the grades they need to access Russell Group universities and other destinations of choice”.
