This week, the Primary Phase was buzzing with excitement as we held our much-anticipated Careers Marketplace Day, and what a fantastic day it was!
From the moment the gates opened, children were wide-eyed with wonder as they explored a world of possibilities. We were lucky to welcome a brilliant range of visitors who shared their time, stories and passion for their professions. Pupils got hands-on experiences and asked thoughtful questions, as they discovered what it is like to be a police officer, paramedic, construction worker, social worker, scientist, choreographer, and many more!
The front of school was transformed with real-life vehicles, including a police car, ambulance and a construction truck, which the children absolutely loved exploring. Inside the classrooms, our visitors brought their careers to life with engaging talks, demonstrations and activities that sparked curiosity and excitement.
Throughout the day, our pupils showed incredible respect, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. It was truly heartwarming to see so many young minds inspired and already thinking about their future goals and ambitions.
A huge thank you goes out to all the amazing volunteers who gave up their time to make the day so special. Your contributions made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful.
As we look ahead, one question remains: What will we be when we grow up? After a day like this, the possibilities feel endless!
