On Sunday 14 May at 4.00pm, WHGS music students took to the 'Band on the Wall' stage to perform original compositions and covers in front of a sellout crowd.
As Royal Northern College of Music 'Young Artists', students attend Saturday morning music school and work with undergraduate mentors, looking at improving ensemble and all-round musicianship skills. Students work with other young people from around the North West in collaboration.
It was wonderful to see WHGS student introduce acts and take leading and ensemble roles in groups. Students who performed included, Eden-Haya, Chandan, Petra, Goncalo, Robert, Leena, Chethan, Judith, Jonas and Hasti.
