Despite it being a particularly chilly evening, it was fantastic to see so many parents and enthusiastic students join us for our annual Open Evening last week; it is always a pleasure to welcome members of the local community to William Hulme’s Grammar School and our visitors were able to see what makes WHGS such a superb place to study.
Throughout the evening, visitors were able to hear about the history of the school and the many opportunities in which our students partake; Audrey (Y11) and Thomas (Y13) spoke brilliantly about what makes William Hulme’s such a special place.
Younger students were able to get ‘hands-on’ with experiments, activities and practical tasks and our current students proved to be incredible ambassadors, offering tours, answering questions and providing parents and prospective students with a wonderfully warm welcome.
