On Tuesday this week, the Food & Nutrition Department held the Seniors Interhouse Masterchef Competition. We had a full complement of entries from Years 10, 11, 12 and 13, making for a very busy and exciting atmosphere in the food room.
The standard was very high with students making a great mix of high-skilled, tasty, savoury and sweet dishes. As ever, the judges had a very satisfying time tasting all the delicious dishes, but found it very difficult to choose the best in each category. After much deliberation the winners were announced:
Savoury: Ana Shah (13JDH) - Chicken Biryani (Bell)
Sweet: Declan Garrett (11JAH) - Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce and Homemade Custard (Johnson)
Sweet: Attifa Akhter (10EMY) - Chocolate Eclairs (Pankhurst)
Skills Award: Nimra Rashid (11TSG) - Dynamite Chicken and Milk Cake (Johnson)
Due to the amazing taste, skill level and presentation, the judges could not choose a single sweet winner so eventually chose two.

- 2nd - Johnson
- 3rd - Bell
- 4th - Turing
