On Thursday 30 March, we hosted our first Iftar in the Sixth Form Centre. The atmosphere was electric and the students led the event perfectly.
The Sixth Form came together as a community to break their fast, pray and eat together. Watching Zohaib in Year 12 conduct a Quran recitation and Ibraheem do the call to prayer in Arabic made us so proud of our students. The way our girls organised the event was also inspiring to see.
Thank you so much to the staff that stayed and supervised the event, Mr Khalique, Mr Kathrada, Mr Choudhury, and special thanks to Mrs Hilton, Mr Mundell, Mr McMenamin and Mrs Harrison, who all stayed until 9.00pm, to tidy the Sixth Form Centre.
