On Monday 18 December, our Year 11 students attended their Vocational Taster Day.
The event had a guest speaker; Victor from Paint me Red, who delivered an assembly about his journey from education, employment to opening his own business, which our students listened attentively too. Mr Hughes, our Director of Pastoral Care (KS4) also delivered an assembly about identity, which our students thoroughly enjoyed.
The Taster Day also consisted of a Careers Fair, where local colleges and local businesses that offered Apprenticeships, provided career guidance to our students. They included:

The event was a great success, with students enjoying the support and guidance that was on offer.
We wish all our Year 11 students the very best in picking the best route for their post 16 destination.
