As part of this year’s Great British Spring Clean, our Secondary Executive Council and Smart School Council carried out litter picks on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays during the weeks of 17-31 March 2023.
We concentrated our litter picking sessions to the streets surrounding our school environment and in Alexandra Park.
Our Primary Phase children have also done an amazing job. Key Stage 1 have been doing litter picks around their school grounds and Key Stage 2 children have undertaken litter picks on the streets surrounding the school building.
It has been great supporting Manchester City Council and the other local schools with this project.
