On Friday 20 October, GCSE Music students, alongside deserving Year 9 musicians, went to listen to the Hallé Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall. Entitled, the 'Orchestra through the Ages', students learnt about the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th Century orchestra and heard pieces from all these eras.
A great experience and insight into the history of classical music, finishing off with Defying Gravity from the musical 'Wicked' and the theme from Star Wars by John Williams.
All students acted as fantastic role models for the school.
