This term, we entered two teams into the Girls' Inspire Football League.
On an extremely bitter and cold Wednesday evening (13 December), at Manchester Enterprise Academy, the KS3 girls performed really well, winning more games than ever. Their performance levels are really improving; with special mention to Aaliyah, T'Maya and Maryam, who never stopped trying and running all night.
On Thursday 14 December, the KS4 team played in the Inspire League at Whalley Range, which was a slightly warmer evening, only marginally (no gloves this night). The girls won three games and lost three games. It is fast and furious, and there is little rest between matches. Again, special mention to Hafeezah, who puts in so much effort and Lexi who has an eye for goal.
Thanks to all the girls, but a special mention to Miss M Simms, who does training and organises the teams.
