Two teams of Year 6 pupils proudly participated in the T1 Rugby Mega Fest held by Team Mcr at WHGS Secondary.
T1 Rugby is a non-contact format of rugby that retains key elements of traditional rugby union. The event brought together pupils from various schools to enjoy an afternoon of fun, skill development and demonstrated the School Games Values.
Our pupils represented the school with enthusiasm and pride, taking part in a series of games designed to encourage teamwork, fair play and enjoyment of the sport. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils of all experience levels to develop their rugby skills in a supportive and competitive environment.
Matches were played against Plymouth Grove, Rushbrook, St John's (Chorlton), Beaver Road and Chorlton Park. All the pupils enjoyed the experience and showcasing the skills which they have been learning during PE this half term.
